7 - BONE GRAFTS

AUTOLOGOUS (with sampling from calvaria or iliac crest or from intraoral sites), HOMOLOGO, (deantigenates of porcine, equine origin), HETEROLOGIST (synthetic bone, hydroxyapatites, calcium sulphate, etc ...). Or... The image exhibited dating back to 20 April 2011 is sufficiently explanatory: there is dense bone around the implants. A graft was certainly made. But no see below rx dated 04 June 2007 which shows two implants of the Italian school inserted in two alveolar cavities, that is two immediate post-extraction implants immediately prosthetic. The new bone formation is all the work of the healing process and the osteoblastic activity resulting from the function.

There is no need to torture normal people with detachment and removal of bone to be grafted with the use of membranes in the implant site. The bone grafts should be left to all those macroscopic interventions that serve to rehabilitate after: Extensive tumor resections. Severe facial trauma from accidents. Ballistic trauma. Large malformations of genetic origin.
